I feel like Christmas has come early after hearing about LeSportsac’s partnership with Stella McCartney for a new line of handbags and luggage. As you (ahem, should) know, the company has previously partnered with fashion-goddesses such as Gwen Stefani and Diane von Furstenberg. McCartney’s signature style pairs perfectly with LeSportsac, both of whom fuse fashion with functionality. McCartney is focused on making her bags “user-friendly, yet attractive…bags that complement your personality and your lifestyle.” (WWD). Her designs will be unique in that most of the bags are designed with motherhood in mind (she’s getting ready to give birth to her third child), and are eco-friendly using fabrics that are 100 % recyclable – even right down to the paper hang tag!
The new line is set to hit LeSportsac stores on January 25th. Retail outlets will begin to sell them in February.
