Love is… a pair (or several pairs) of Christian Louboutin's

By Nikkia (Guest Editor for TFS)

The other day I was home sick with nothing much to do but lay around and watch TV. Around 3 o’clock Oprah came on. The show was about the names behind some of our favorite things. She had the family responsible for Coldstone Creamery, the guy who is the executive chef at a restaurant in L.A. called Table 8 and then came the segment about Christian Louboutin. If you all don’t know who he is, please visit Christian Louboutin.fr.

Christian Louboutin shoes are known for their trademark red sole, which caught my eye when I happened to see them on a celebrity in InStyle Magazine one day. I thought it was genius to distinguish a shoe with the striking color red -- not that they need red to distinguish them from the pack! These shoes are amazing! They are also very expensive, but what do you expect from a company where only 10 artisans’ hands touch each pair of shoes? No machine assembly lines at the House of Louboutin.

I find this shoe line to be whimsical, sexy, enchanting, daring, and infinitely feminine. I hope you do too.
